Success and Nothing Less: WRG Scores 2 New C&IT A-Listers

Two of our superstar team members, Steph Robinson and Ellie Bidmead have been chosen to join the illustrious C&IT A-List.

The list is a prestigious who’s who of events agency planners, featuring people who have genuinely excelled in their roles and careers so far.

Just to be considered, Steph and Ellie had to consistently demonstrate A-List attributes over the year, including: “innovation, collaboration, progression and performance”.

And with an “unprecedented number of nominations” this year, the competition was described as “extra fierce” by the notoriously selective C&IT panel.

Steph, who’s only been in the role for 13 months, has already been described as the ‘ultimate producer’ by colleagues. She seamlessly delivered one of WRG’s most complex virtual events – with 76 separate links, as well as running three separately branded congress events in one day.

“I had the privilege of working with Steph on a live event for 900 people from around the world. It was complex and constantly evolving, which Steph handled with ease. Her flexibility and creativity was integral to its success.”

While Ellie, who joined WRG as a Delegate Manager in 2014, but quickly rose to Project Director, has been commended for her outstanding role as a mentor to year-one juniors. While simultaneously leading one of WRG’s largest projects – where she oversees logistics, production, H&S and sustainability. As well as a team of 28 people across Europe and Asia and being responsible for over 1,000 delegates.

“Gems like Ellie are hard to find. Never in 7 years has her professionalism, enthusiasm or dedication to our programme faltered. We are big Ellie fans over here.”

Ellie and Steph will join all the winners at an exclusive party on 8 November in London to celebrate their achievements.

To say we’re proud of these two would be an understatement. In their own unique ways, they lead by example at every turn, and we’re lucky to have them onboard.
